As I just posted one of the photos of the day anyways, I thought I could share a bit of a background story with you as well.
A frosty and chill day - but I went there alone as I wanted to focus more on #photography than just #hiking the summit.

A novel interface reconstruction strategy for volume of fluid (VOF) methods is introduced that represents the liquid-gas interface as two planes that co-exist within a single computational cell. Surface figure correction using differential deposition of WSi2
The surface figure of an x-ray mirror was improved by differential deposition of WSi2 layers. DC magnetron sputtering through beam-defining apertures was applied on moving substrates to generate thin films with arbitrary longitudinal thickness variations.
